VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are essential to meeting the challenge of Human Trafficking and the heartbeat of Path2Freedom. We are constantly looking for passionate, caring, like-minded, people to join us.
DIRECT SERVICE
Positions involve direct contact with residents. Applicants require initial Human Trafficking CSEC Training consisting of a minimum of 21 hours online course work. Background checks, reference checks, and fingerprinting are also required.
Life Coach – As a life coach you will be helping with various areas of life skills in a trauma informed manner, using the results of Casey Life Skills and Optimal Wellness surveys as a guide. Such as: practice attuned and respectful communication; empower her voice & choices; build a resilient and positive identity; model calm responses to emotional moments; support education and life goals; and encourage hope and future vision. 3-5 hours weekly or bi-weekly
Classroom – As an assistant in the classroom, you will be helping with overall supervision and also assigned by the lead teacher to help girls one-on-one with their school subjects as needed, primarily in math and language arts. 1 day/week or every other week 9a-3p
Driver – Drive girls to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and family visitation meetings; Provide safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation; Maintain confidentiality and support the emotional well-being of the girls during rides. Flexible availability during weekdays and some weekends/daytime hours.
INDIRECT SERVICE
Positions support outreach activities and have no direct contact with the residents. No background, reference checks, or fingerprinting required.
Ambassador – Assist the Marketing and Communications team by connecting with organizations, churches, and social clubs to build meaningful community partnerships, share the mission of Path2Freedom as a speaker – providing education and awareness about human trafficking.
Flexible scheduling 3-5 hours/week
Events – Partner with the fundraising team to staff table-tops, attend third-party fundraisers, help with the Path2Freedom sponsored fundraisers (Magnolia Tea and Red Gala).
Flexible scheduling daytime, evening, and weekends 3-5 hours/week
Public Relations – Write blog posts and newsletter articles, take photographs/videos during events and capture resident stories.

- Ask your place of business, organization, church, or club if they would like to learn about us, potential speaking event, financial support, beneficiary of a fundraiser, or Red Gala sponsor

- Host a party and ask for donations
- Do a 50/50 drawing or raffle
- Ask people to sponsor you in an activity on behalf of human trafficking survivors and Path2Freedom (running, biking, walking, pickleball tournament)
- Have a bake sale, design crafts, lemonade stand, or car wash
